Three Steps to Change

It’s Monday morning – I want to help you out.

It’s time for you to take action towards your big goals, and find that desire within to do something awesome for yourself.

We are very much alike – you, me, we all face, tackle and conquer daily struggles and obstacles in order to achieve and be successful.

Tough, challenging and complex – that is what Changing your body, job or life is – especially if you’ve failed a great number of times before. You may have found it too hard, and ended up resigning yourself to not changing.

But…I found a way to change.

This is a sure-fire way to change both body and health, to change career or to change lifestyle to something so much more desirable.

Me, myself, I am no any better than you. I’m not more disciplined, I’m not more motivated. I come across average people who I find to be more motivated than me at times. I try to learn from them, not turn my nose at them.

What I have learnt is that there are a couple of principles that can really transform things for you in a really short space of time.

It all comes down to the daily habits that we practise and action every single day.

We can change or create anything we want in our lives. All we need to do is learn how to effectively form a new habit – Practice is really what makes perfect.

Habits = a set of patterns.

We just need to repeat these patterns until they become automatic, like second nature.

How are we going to do this?

  1. Start with a small daily habit to improve on – it could be something as simple as drinking 100ml of water every hour throughout the day.
  2. Focus on one habit at a time only; do not attempt to take on multiple changes as this makes us a bit susceptible to failing
  3. Complete this habit daily, until you forget that you are doing it.

There you go, the recipe for change – simple but effective.
